Ellie Knott - Flautist & Saxophonist

Ellie is a young flautist and saxophonist from Manchester who began her musical life aged 7. Having moved to the North-East to continue her education, Ellie graduated from Durham University with a First Class Honours Degree in 2018. While completing her undergraduate studies she began her teaching career at the Sage in Gateshead as Flute Tutor on their Young Musicians' Programme. She now works at Wells Cathedral School as a Graduate Music Assistant and the schools' Orchestra Manager. Ellie specialises in orchestral, chamber and jazz repertoire as a soloist and in ensembles and is available to hire for weddings or special events.

Performances

Most recently, orchestral and chamber performances have seen Ellie involved in the following repertoire; Gustav Mahler First Symphony, Sergei Rachmaninoff - Symphonic Dances, Francis Poulenc - Sextet and Gy├Ârgy Ligeti - Six Bagatelles.

Events

Ellie is available to play during the signing of the register, wedding breakfast or reception during your wedding in the  Greater Manchester or South West areas.
